See some of Bali’s most spectacular scenery while coasting down winding roads past volcanic vistas and pedalling along secret back streets through traditional Balinese villages and fields. This tour is easy-going and suitable for all fitness levels and ages. We’ll give you all the equipment you need and show you a side of Bali you’ve probably never seen before.
The tour starts with a briefing and breakfast at Penelokan. Then it’s off on your mountain bikes through the heartland of Bali, cycling downhill all the way on quiet roads enjoying the beautiful Balinese landscape. Your Bali Sunrise Trekking & Tours guide will stop at interesting points along the way like rice paddies, temples and Balinese houses and explain aspects of Balinese culture like how the harvest process works, and how craftsmen produce their artisan products.
Your tour ends in Ubud, where we will have a delicious Balinese feast of local favorites like chicken sate (skewer chicken) or ayam bakar (roast chicken), vegetable urab and fresh tropical fruit.
The tour takes approximately 6 – 7 hours.
9:00 am: Arrival at Penelokan / Breakfast
9:45-10:00am: Begin Cycle Tour
Approx. 1:30pm: Arrive in Ubud / Lunch
2:30-3:30pm: Return transport to hotel
