Experience one of Bali’s most iconic adventures with our Mount Batur Sunrise Trek, combined with a relaxing hot spring soak and scenic cultural highlights in North Bali. This full-day tour is perfect for travelers who want to enjoy adventure, nature, and relaxation in one well-organized package.
Your journey begins early in the morning with hotel pickup from the Ubud area, followed by a guided sunrise trek up Mount Batur. Led by experienced, English-speaking mountain guides, you will hike to the crater summit in time to witness a spectacular sunrise over Lake Batur and the surrounding volcanoes. At the summit, enjoy a simple breakfast, including eggs cooked in natural volcanic steam, while taking in the panoramic views.
After descending from the volcano, relax your muscles at a natural hot spring, where you can soak in warm mineral-rich waters surrounded by beautiful scenery. The tour then continues to Pura Ulun Danu Batur, one of Bali’s most important temples, where you will have time to explore and learn about its cultural significance.
In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive to the Twin Lakes of Tamblingan and Buyan, offering peaceful views and excellent photo opportunities, before returning to Ubud in the early evening.

02:00 AM – Hotel pickup from the Ubud area. Transfer directly to the trek starting point at Cintamani Restaurant / Geopark Village.
03:15 – 03:30 AM – Arrival at the starting point. Our English-speaking guides provide a short briefing covering the trek route and safety procedures.
03:30 – 03:45 AM – Begin the trek on the trail leading up Mount Batur.
04:00 – 06:00 AM – Continue the climb toward the crater summit.
06:15 – 06:45 AM – Arrival at the crater summit. Enjoy the spectacular sunrise and panoramic views while having eggs cooked in volcanic steam. Small traditional shops (warung) are available for hot tea, coffee, or soft drinks.
07:00 AM – Continue trekking, with the option to walk around the crater.
07:00 – 07:30 AM – Begin the descent to Geopark Village, the finishing point of the trek.
08:00 – 09:30 AM – Arrival at Geopark Village, followed by transfer to the natural hot springs.
09:00 – 09:30 AM – Arrival at the natural hot springs. Relax and soak while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
10:00 – 11:00 AM – Finish the hot spring visit and transfer to Pura Ulun Danu Batur.
11:00 – 11:30 AM – Arrival at Pura Ulun Danu Batur. Visit and explore the temple.
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM – Depart from Pura Ulun Danu Batur and travel to the Twin Lakes of Tamblingan and Buyan.
02:30 – 03:00 PM – Arrival at the Twin Lakes (Tamblingan and Buyan). Enjoy the panoramic lake views and surrounding scenery.
03:00 – 03:30 PM – Transfer back to Ubud.
05:00 – 06:00 PM – Arrival in the Ubud area. Tour concludes.
