After Trekking you will meet your experienced guide and driver. Then you climb aboard a powerful SUV vehicle specially modified to handle the steep and rocky terrain. Your guide will power through the lava fields and up the side of the volcano, stopping at various points like the Lava Ball holy lava cave, the 1964 eruption site, and scenic spots where you can take in panoramic views of Kintamani laid out below and local farmers tending their fields.
Rough Itinerary and estimated time schedule
Pick up time:Â We pick you up at your hotel and transport you directly to the starting point at Bali Sunrise Villas in the village of Toya Bungkah, Kintamani.
03:15 – 03:30: Our English-speaking guides will give you a quick briefing with information about your trek and the safety procedures.
03:30 – 03:45: We set off on the trail that leads up Mount Batur.
04:00 – 06:00: We continue our climb to the crater summit.
06:15 – 06:45: Arrival at the crater summit where we soak up the spectacular sunrise and views and enjoy eggs boiled in volcanic steam. There are several small traditional shops, or warung, at the summit where you can buy hot tea, coffee, or soft drinks.
07:00:Â We continue our trek with the possibility to trek around the entire crater.
08:00:Â We begin our descent to Bali Sunrise Villas, the finishing point of our trek.
09:00 – 09:30: Meet at Bali sunrise start point, briefing by our team, Get on 4WD jeep and tour begins.
9:15-9:45am: on the 4WD Jeep and tour begins, we drive through the villages, tropical plantation, lava field ect. long the way we enjoy the beautiful view of the lake, mountains, and the surroundings.
10:30 – 11:00 am: Arrival at the black lava field, enjoy the black lava site, the panorama of the Batur volcano and taking picture spot.
11:00 – noon: Driving back to finish point and board vehicles for return to hotel.
